Refreshment

"He changes a wilderness into a pool of water and a dry land into springs of water; And there He makes the hungry to dwell, so that they may establish an inhabited city, and sow fields and plant vineyards, and gather a fruitful harvest." Psalm 107:35-37

We had a cluster meeting a week and a half ago and it was such a refreshing time. Honestly, I wasn't expecting for it to be as refreshing as it was. Praise to the Father that He gives good gifts to His kids, despite the lack of expectation on my part! The volunteers came from FBC Orlando and blessed us in so many ways!
My Malagasy friends! I love the instant bond we have because of the work we are doing.

Old friends- love that I can say that even though we have known each other for 9 months. When you're all in a transitional role, it's amazing how close you can get to each other. I know we will be friends for life!

Happy.

I can't believe I haven't posted a picture of my supervisors yet! Meet Stan and Nancy Dickard. They are a wonderful couple who I have the honor to serve alongside and learn from. They are hospitality extraordinares and eager to serve anybody and everybody and causes me to aspire to do the same! We make a great team!
What a treat it was to see Bryan & Dana Bullington! They go back to my high school days and attended my home church when they were stateside. Their daughter, Kaci, is my age and it was SO good to see a family called to the m*ssions field as I also felt called at the age of 12. I don't remember having many conversations with them about it all, but even just seeing their family's life lived out, was enough encouragement to me to get excited about the plans that He had for me one day to also go where ever and whenever He wanted me to go. And now I am living out my dream and it such a sweet thing to be walking in His ways! Thankful that He strategically placed people in my path along the way. He gives and He gives and He gives!

"Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude."
Colossians 2:6-7
I want my life to be flowing with an attitude of gratitude towards my Lord, Jesus Christ. How could I not? He has given me abundant life and it is my prayer that I clearly represent Him in every area of my daily life of what He did on the cross on my behalf.
